Meet Trish:

Preschool and Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist, Mom and TpT Author

EDUCATION:

I have a Bachelor of Science from Ithaca College in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, a Masters of Education in Elementary Education from Plattsburgh State University and a Master of Science in Speech- language Pathology from Georgia State University.

EXPERIENCE:

I have been an SLP for 25 (plus) years and continue to have a passion for improving the communication skills of children. Working in many settings with all ages of clients led me back to where I started, my LOVE- providing speech and language therapy for young children in their homes and daycare settings. Previously, I owned a private speech therapy clinic and worked with clients with a wide array of communication disorders.

I have and continue to provide live and virtual training sessions for early childhood educators (including home and facility based daycares, Head start, and schools) so that they can help students in their settings with communication, language and literacy skills.

ABOUT ME:

I am a “seasoned” SLP based in the Adirondacks of New York State. I have been an SLP for 25 (plus) years and continue to have a passion for improving the communication skills of children. During the pandemic, I wanted specific digital and print materials for my clients that I couldn’t find, so I made them and started to sell them on TPT and Boom Learning and became an accidental entrepreneur. My resources not only help me and my clients, but I’m so excited that I can help other busy SLP’s also! I am a busy Mom to two grown and flown kids and missing them like crazy! My private practice keeps me on my toes and always looking for and developing time saving tips and resources.

HOBBIES:

When possible, I love be be outside hiking, walking my dog, reading, swimming in Mirror Lake, playing tennis or platform tennis or skiing! I LOVE TO LAUGH and my guilty pleasures are General Hospital, Cheesy Christmas movies, Zebra Cakes and half and half with a dash of coffee! I have 6 chickens and enjoy hanging out with them!

I am like you, a busy SLP who is trying to balance paperwork, scheduling, personal life and therapy.

I am excited to share my SLP journey with you and offer what I have learned and developed to make your life easier!

 I’m so glad you’re here!
